We recognize and understand how Form and Function elements are unique to each space. They dictate the spaces purpose. Form and Function elements can be designed to make a statement: Emphasize and accentuate them for a bold effect -- or mute them to have them blend in to solely fulfill a purpose when needed.
Space Planning
Space Planning combines the elements of space, layout and flow. By incorporating Form and Function and Design Style, Space Planning is used to best utilize a space.
Space Planning is a skill refined through training and experience. Space Planning includes consideration of the utilization of space, clearances and specifications, accessibility and form & function.
We recognizes that Space Planning involves site investigation and planning to discovering foreseen elements that might otherwise cause setbacks or complications. This process also allows the formulation of additional plans or options that could be necessary.
Home Styling
Home Styling is the process of bringing together all of the aspects of Design and Space Planning.
I utilize my full scope of expertise in the layering of colors, textures and materials, as well as in the placement furnishings and accessories.
I am adept at introducing key elements that dramatically improve overall Home Styling and appeal. Likewise, we are adept at updating, reusing and repurposing existing elements in Home Styling.
As important as utilization and placement of décor are, equally as important is the ability to edit elements in design i.e. less is more.
